This trip includes ten breakfasts, five dinners, transportation from the Center to the airport, TGV train, and hotel accommodations. We will begin in Paris with a cruise on the Seine, followed by dinner at a Parisian brasserie. We will visit the Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame, Champs-Elysees, and more. On day four, we set off for the coast of Normandy and a visit to the Memorial Peace Museum, built to commemorate those who died in the battle of Normandy. We’ll visit the Omaha Beach Cemetery and interpretive center as well as visit other landing beaches. We’ll explore beautiful abbeys and stand before the grand Bayeux Tapestry. The World Heritage site of Le Mont St. Michel is a world famous pilgrimage site where we will stroll through the old city. We’ll enjoy the Loire Valley and the village of Chinon, along with a local winery and the renovated abbey of Fontevraund. We will finish with a trip on the TGV train to Avignon to enjoy a walking tour and the Palais des Papes. Our tour will end with a trip to an open air market, Lavender Museum, and farewell dinner with cocktail reception at a local restaurant.
