It's spring time and the City of Carrollton is encouraging citizens to take time out of their busy schedule to walk down to the local park and meet their neighbors. Pack the park by bringing a picnic basket and have some fun with your fellow area residents. Register your neighborhood by submitting an application fee of $25 with the Parks and Recreation Department no later than Wednesday, April 6 at 5 pm to receive a bag full of prizes and activities to use during the event. Applications for the event will be available online at www.cityofcarrollton.com/parksandrec beginning March 1. Call 972-466-3076 to register your neighborhood.
