Rescheduled for May 24, 2015

The Mother’s Day concert and picnic has been rescheduled to Sunday, May 24. This year’s concert will feature The E Flat Porch Band. Bring a picnic basket, blankets, or lawn chairs. Free ice cream and lemonade will be provided. Kids can make a craft that will keep them cool all summer.

Event attendees can also create a theme for their picnic and enter the annual Picnic Contest in one of three categories: Best Family, Most Elegant, or Most Creative. Registration for the contest begins at 5 p.m. and judging takes place at 5:45 p.m. with winners announced and prizes awarded at the beginning of the 6 p.m. concert. For more information, call 972-466-6380 or visit cityofcarrollton.com/museum.
