The Newman Smith High School Human Rights Forum is hosting a showing of the documentary film Girl Rising to raise awareness of gender inequality issues.

All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Tides Foundation to raise funds for girls education initiatives.

Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets are $5 for students and $8 for adults  (Tickets will be available at the will call window on the day of the event.)
