The Carrollton Police Department’s Victim Services Unit provides assistance to crime victims and their families. Additionally, we are here as a resource to all citizens of Carrollton with a social service needs. This program empowers victims and lessens the effects of trauma through:
- Crisis Intervention
- Assistance in getting a Protective Order
- Education regarding victims’ rights
- Help navigating the criminal justice system
- Help finding placement in a shelter
- Information and referral for community services
- Help applying for Crime Victims’ Compensation Program
