Mark your calendars for the City’s third annual Public Works Open House & Equipment Rodeo, to be held Wednesday May 20 at Standbridge Stadium. There will be information booths and demonstrations throughout the day. Don’t miss the returning bit of friendly competition between the City of Carrollton and the City of Farmers Branch, as public works employees demonstrate their skills through a series of timed obstacles such as forklift basketball and precision dozer and dump truck driving.

This event is held during the third week of May in celebration of National Public Works Week. Join us as we celebrate the men and women who daily provide service to our City and the public through installing, repairing and maintaining the streets, storm drainage infrastructure, traffic signs and operation of traffic signals; ensuring a safe and reliable supply of drinking water; and providing safe and efficient collection of wastewater.
