BIKE SAFETY |
Texas state law considers a bicycle to be a vehicle. Cyclists must operate bikes according to vehicular laws on the street.

When driving, it is important to keep an eye out for cyclists and pedestrians. Remember, Texas state law considers a bicycle to be a vehicle, and you must operate your bike according to vehicular laws on the street. Bicyclists are allowed to use the full lane. The City reminds all drivers to keep an eye out for bicyclists and pedestrians. .
