The Junior Police Academy is designed for middle school students who reside in or attend school in Carrollton. This complimentary, week-long summer camp provides an engaging and interactive introduction to the fundamentals of law enforcement.

Camp Highlights:

Participants will explore a variety of topics, including:

• Traffic Stops
• Building Searches
• Crime Scene Investigations
• Fingerprinting
• Crisis Negotiations
• K-9 Operations
• SWAT Operations
• ...and more!

Campers will have the opportunity to tour the police department and meet officers from various divisions. Additionally, Carrollton Fire Rescue may join us to offer a tour of their fire trucks!

Enrollment Information:

Spaces are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. We encourage interested families to submit applications early, as spots are expected to fill quickly. The schedule for the 2025 Junior Police Academy will be announced in March 2025.
