Three months after City Council added three new councilmembers during the general election, the councilmembers are adjusting to their new roles in the community.

We are excited to make improvements to the Martha Pointer Park. The two existing tennis courts will be demolished and replaced with two new courts and the current basketball court will be resurfaced as a new multi-purpose court. The project will in late July and we hope to be complete in early fall, weather permitting.

The City of Carrollton’s 287(g) program continues to progress toward operational reality. This is a partnership with Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) through which members of the Carrollton Police Department are receiving specialized training.
