The City of Carrollton has taken enhanced health and safety measures to promote a safe gathering in accordance with current guidelines and recommendations. Staff will be disinfecting surfaces regularly and sanitizer stations will be available throughout the event. Face coverings are strongly encouraged for all attendees who are not fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Attendees are also asked to stay at home if they have recently had close contact with anyone who has been diagnosed with or is experiencing symptoms of COVID-19.
Be Symptom Aware
Attendees are advised to stay at home if they have recently had close contact with someone who has COVID-19 or have been diagnosed with or are experiencing any of the following symptoms of COVID-19 identified by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention at CDC.gov, including:
- Fever or chills
- Cough
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Fatigue
- Muscle or body aches
- Headache
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea
Those experiencing any of the above must not attend the event. By attending Carrollton's Festival at the Switchyard attendees agree to abide by all health and safety requirements set forth by and posted at the event.
An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. By attending Carrollton's Festival at the Switchyard guests voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
