Plan to Attend Carrollton’s Free Festival at the Switchyard November 3
The 3rd annual Carrollton Festival at the Switchyard will take place outdoors on the Downtown Carrollton Square, steps away from the Downtown Carrollton DART station and will feature live entertainment from headliners Lifehouse and the popular radio-friendly rock band Sister Hazel, along with alternative country group Micky and the Motorcars, Bruce Springsteen cover band Thunder Road, Western-swing band Asleep at the Wheel, independent country artist Bri Bagwell, local favorite John Wehlage, the Dallas Tap Dazzlers, and the Radio Disney Rocking Road Show.
In addition to the exciting concerts, great food, a beer garden, arts and crafts, live entertainment, interactive games, and activities for children of all ages are planned. The free, expanded KidsWorld will offer games and rides for all ages, including several bungee trampolines, a sports midway, a zip line inflatable, a zero gravity inflatable, bounce houses, face painters, activities for toddlers, a climbing wall and more. Parking is limited – park and ride DART (normal charges apply).

Carrollton, Texas – Carrollton’s Festival at the Switchyard is proud to announce the full entertainment lineup for the free 3rd Annual 2012 Festival, taking place November 3 on the Downtown Carrollton Square. The lineup brings an amazing array of musical talent and diversity to the stage. The Festival will be held on the streets of Historic Downtown Carrollton, just east of I-35 on the south side of Belt Line Road, mid-way between the George Bush Turnpike and LBJ Freeway. In addition to the exciting concerts, arts and crafts, and great food and beverages; festival goers will be able to visit the unique restaurants and shops surrounding the Downtown Square. Live entertainment, interactive games, and activities for children of all ages are planned, including bungee trampolines, a zip line and more.
