Fire Extinguisher Training

Participants are provided with an opportunity to use a fire extinguisher on a controlled fire utilizing the Fire Department's Training Simulator, after completing the instruction phase of the class.  Fire extinguisher classes are one hour and include:

• Discussion on the different types of fire
• Correct extinguisher to use for each type of fire
• Determining factors to know when deciding whether to fight the fire
• Correct procedure to follow when using an extinguisher

The cost is $12 per person, with a minimum of $200

This class meets OSHA annual requirements, as well as new employee requirements.
