Site Technical Requirements

Recommended browsers:

• Firefox 3.0 or higher
• Chrome 9.0 or higher
• Safari 2.0 or higher
• Opera 9.0 or higher
• Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 or higher for Windows

To use an older browser it must support:

• HTML and XHTML
• Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
• ECMAScript (the standard behind scripting languages such as JavaScript)
• the W3C Document Object Model (DOM)

If you have difficulties staying logged in while accessing your account or getting in to a research database from home, try adjusting the following settings, starting from the top:

• enable cookies
• enable Javascript
• set your browser security settings to Medium or Medium-low
• disable or reset Internet Explorer's Content Advisor
• remove any Spyware or Adware on your computer
• disable your personal firewall
