Residents are invited to enroll in the Recyclebank Rewards Recycling Program in order to earn valuable recycling rewards points.  

The City of Carrollton’s recycling rewards program gets a major overhaul October, 2012! Waste Management has joined forces with Recyclebank to offer points for recycling that can be used for money-saving discounts at dozens of local businesses and on many national brands.

When you recycle with Waste Management— and become a Recyclebank member — you’ll earn points for taking green actions. You can earn Recyclebank Points in many ways:

· Residential recycling in Carrollton

· Referring your friends and family

· Learning about ways to green your lifestyle

· Entering points codes from our partners

Use your points to shop for rewards for you, your family and your home from hundreds of local and national businesses in more than 10 categories. In addition, Recyclebank will also have future opportunities to donate your points to schools through the Green Schools Program.

What if I am already participating in Carrollton’s recycling rewards program, or have participated in the past?

Keep an eye out for emails from Waste Management and/or Recyclebank with instructions on how to set up your new Recyclebank account and transfer your points from the existing rewards program (Think Green Rewards) to your new Recyclebank account. If you missed the email or did not receive it, just call 1-888-727-2978 to get assistance from one of our Customer Care Agents (Monday-Sunday 8:00am - 9:59pm).

What if I haven’t participated in Carrollton’s recycling rewards program yet?

Registration is easy – visit Recyclebank.com/wm today to get started. Don’t forget to follow the prompts to verify your address so you can begin earning points! You can also register by calling our Customer Care line at 1-888-727-2978.

Why should we recycle? For the environment, for Carrollton and for you!

• Environment. Recycling helps conserve natural resources. That means we're helping to make sure the earth is still here for our grandchildren. Recycling saves energy as it allows us to make fewer cans, bottles and paper. This helps keep fuel prices low and cuts down the amount of factory smoke and fumes going into the air we breathe.
  
• Carrollton. Neighborhoods benefit from recycling through cleaner streets and sidewalks, and a stronger sense of community. Recycling also helps generate sales tax revenue. By shopping at one of our local rewards partners, sales tax revenue will be generated for Carrollton. This means more funding for public safety, libraries and fewer potholes!
