Park Hours and Park Rules

Park hours are 5:30 am to 10 pm daily unless otherwise posted.

Unauthorized vehicles are prohibited on park property.
Possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited.
Fireworks and/or firearms of any kind are not permitted.
Golfing is not allowed on park property.
Dogs must be kept on leash at all times.

1. Amphitheater Click for larger view	2035 E. Jackson Road Map	Four acres of rolling hills, a winding stream, and trees surround this facility designed for community rentals. It has a raised stage, restrooms, water fountain, parking, and bench seating for approximately 300 people, with additional ground seating for approximately 500 more.
2. A. W. Perry Museum Click for larger view	1509 N. Perry Road Map	The house and 10 acres of land were donated to the city by Mrs. Pearl Perry Gravley in 1975. This beautiful home offers a glimpse of life as it was at the turn of the 20th century. FREE tours are available. The grounds may be reserved for weddings, birthday parties, photography, and other special occasions.
3. Branch Hollow Park Click for larger view	2050 E. Branch Hollow (North Carrollton, east of Josey & south of Hebron Parkway) Map	This 3.5 acre neighborhood park site serves the northeast quadrant of the city. Facilities include two lighted tennis courts, picnic facilities, a playground with rubberized play surface, walking paths, and parking facilities.

"Bill" Hall Park Click for larger view Click for larger view Click for larger view	2200 Crater Lake Court Map	6.4 acres located at the northwest corner of the Jackson and McCoy intersection is named after a former prominent civic leader in Carrollton. The park has concrete sidewalks, pedestrian lighting, playground with rubberized play surface, pavilion, interpretive signage, grills, drinking fountain, park benches, and trash receptacles.
11. Dimension Tract Click for larger view	1199 Elm Park Drive Map	The Dimension Tract is a secluded thirty-eight acre parcel of undeveloped land along the Elm Fork of the Trinity River. The natural parkland features a 14-acre pond, 3.5 acres of wetlands, 9 acres of river bottom timber and a blanket of native vegetation on the remaining 11.5 acres. This property has a canoe and kayak launch on-site on the Trinity River.

Elm Fork Nature Preserve Click for larger view Click for larger view	2335 Sandy Lake Road Map	East beyond the extension of McInnish Park Sports Complex and east of the existing tree farm in McInnish Park, this 40.28 acre site is divided into two tracts - 18.50 acres which is city owned and 21.78 acres which is leased by the city from Dallas County. The site has been designated as a nature area. An Interpretive Center was constructed by volunteers. A master plan of the site has been completed. A Texas Wildscape was developed in 1995 through a Texas Parks and Wildlife Department Grant.
13. Francis Perry Park Click for larger view	1400 Francis & Ross Map	This beautiful 3-acre park has large shade trees, grills and tables for picnicking, one lighted tennis court, and a playground. This site includes an ADA accessible parking space and sidewalk to access playground area.
14. Gravley Park Click for larger view	1508 N. Perry Road Map	This serene 13 acre park, of which 2.50 acres is leased, is located adjacent to the A. W. Perry Museum and was dedicated to the city by Mrs. Pearl Perry Gravley. Visitors can enjoy a free tour of the museum and stroll the passive park setting. Facilities include walking paths, park benches, water fountain, and parking lot. Bikes and skateboards are prohibited.
15, 16, 17, & 18 - Greenbelt Park Area 1 - 14.53 acres Area 2 - 41.02 acres Disc Golf course is closed temporarily for a capital improvement drainage project nearby. The project could take up to one year to complete. Area 3 - 12.39 acres Area 4A - 23.69 acres	1. Scott Mill Road (east of Thompson Elementary School) Map 2. Josey Lane & Southern Oaks Map 3. Woodbury & Josey Lane Map 4. 3000 Furneaux Map(Frankford & Furneaux)	177.80 acre site (Area 1-7, excluding 4). Facilities include 2.3 miles of hike & bike trails, picnic areas, playground, roadways, parking lots, six lighted tennis courts, multipurpose court, water fountains, nature area, scenic overlook, and underground sprinkler system. Area 2 contains grills and tables for picnicking. Areas 3 and 4 contain a playground, tables and grills. Area 4 has one lighted tennis court.
24. Harold K Bessire Park Click for larger view	1117 Dentonshire Map	This 5.40 acre park was deeded to the city by Kenny Marchant Custom Homes for a neighborhood park. Construction was completed in fall of 1997. Amenities include playground, walking paths, picnic tables and grills, a shelter, and drinking fountain.
25. Harvest Run Park Click for larger view	4334 Spurwood Map	This 6-acre neighborhood park site has been designated to serve single residential development north of Hebron Parkway and east of Josey Lane. Construction of the park was completed in fall of 1997. Amenities include playground, walking paths, picnic tables and grills, a shelter, and drinking fountain.
26. Holman D. This 4.50 acre site serves citizens in southeast Carrollton. Facilities include a lighted multipurpose court, picnic tables and grills, picnic shelter for groups, drinking fountain, walking/ jogging paths and a playground.
27. Indian Creek Golf Course Click for larger view	1650 Frankford Road Map(Frankford & I-35)	This 415 acre, 36-hole golf course is located along the Elm Fork of the Trinity River. Facility includes a clubhouse complete with pro-shop and snack bar.
28. Jimmy Porter Park Click for larger view	1871 Sherwood Lane Map(Josey Lane and Sherwood) Reservations not required for use of pavilion.	A 5-acre park that contains grills, tables, and a shelter with electricity for picnicking, restrooms, water fountains multipurpose court, 2 lighted sports fields, and a playground.

Josey Ranch Lake Park Click for larger view	1440 Keller Springs Map Keller Springs/Josey Lane (Sports Complex)	This 100 acre linear greenbelt connects Thomas Park and Jimmy Porter Park west of Josey Lane, Keller Springs Park to the east, and Mill Valley and Ward Steenson park to the north. Development includes a 50 acre sports complex, complete with a 3.50 acre lake with fishing pier, concession/restroom facilities, natural area for observing birds and wildlife, hike & bike trails, picnic facilities, playground, and parking facilities. Fifty acres east of Josey Lane remains undeveloped except for an 18-hole disc golf course.
31. Keller Springs Park Click for larger view	2146 Kelly Blvd Map Kelly Blvd & Keller Springs Road	A 3-acre park features a playground with rubberized play surface, multi-purpose court, grills and tables for picnicking, and drinking fountain. The park is located one block south of Keller Springs Road.

33. Indian Creek Ranch Park Click for larger view Click for larger view	1645 Coyote Ridge Map (North of Hebron at end of Hunt Drive) Reservations not required for use of pavilion.	This 6.626-acre park was developed through a grant from Texas Parks & Wildlife. Amenities include walking paths, park benches, barbecue grill, picnic pavilion, playground with rubberized play surface, fishing pier, picnic tables, and parking.
34. Martha Pointer Park Click for larger view	2742 Scott Mill Road Map Scott Mill & Placid	This 6-acre park includes 2 lighted multipurpose courts, playground, grills and tables, restrooms, water fountain, and a playing field with backstop. (No organized sports)
35. Mary Heads Carter Park and Kids Corral Click for larger view Click for larger view	2320 Heads Lane Map Pavilion can be reserved for groups up to 150. Call 972-466-9800 for information.	This 12.30-acre park is across the street from a proposed school site. The Kids Corral Playground was constructed in 1991 by community effort. Amenities include a paved parking area, restrooms, and a picnic pavilion. The park closes at 10:30 pm.
36. McInnish Park and Sports Complex Click for larger view	2340 Sandy Lake Road (Park Site-North) 2335 Sandy Lake Road (Sports Complex - South) Map	A 220-acre park of which 34 acres are leased. The 34-acre park north of Sandy Lake contains grills and tables for picnicking, a multipurpose sports field for soccer, and river frontage for canoeing and fishing. A boat ramp is available for launching boats. The sports complex which was constructed on the 186-acre park site south of Sandy Lake Road is open for league play in soccer, softball, and baseball. Facilities now include roadways, parking lots, 3 concession stands, 2 restrooms, 8 lighted softball fields, 1 lighted senior league field, 3 lighted soccer fields, and 1 lighted high school baseball field. Other facilities include picnic tables, walking paths, water activities and playground with rubberized play surface.
37. Mill Valley Park Click for larger view	2100 Carmel Drive Map Carmel & Keller Springs Road (two blocks east of Josey Lane)	This 12-acre park site was deeded to the city as a neighborhood park for the Mill Valley addition by developer Joel Robuck. The city will make additional improvements to the site as funds are available. Facilities include 1 lighted tennis court and a multipurpose court for volleyball and basketball.

40. Oak Hills Park Click for larger view	1210 East Hebron Map Hebron Parkway & Rolling Oaks Drive Reservations not required for use of pavilion.	This 4.50-acre site has been designed to serve single family residential development south of Hebron Parkway. Amenities include a picnic pavilion, basketball court, sand volleyball court, playground, concrete walking paths, drinking fountain, picnic table, BBQ grill, parking lot, and irrigation system.
41. Pioneer Park Click for larger view	Carroll at Main Map	The smallest park in Carrollton sits near Old Downtown and is designated a historical site. Enjoy the changing view of the downtown area from a park bench.
42. R. E. Good Sports Complex Click for larger view	2335 Sandy Lake Road Map extension of McInnish Park on the south side	This 48-acre tract is an integral part of the McInnish Park Sports Complex with access through McInnish park via McInnish Park Drive. The park includes 5 soccer fields, roadway/parkway area, picnic facilities, playground, nature trail, overlook shelter and drinking fountains.
43. Rosemeade Recreation Center and Park Click for larger view	1330 E. Rosemeade Parkway Map	28 acres surround the recreation center just east of Old Denton Road. The park has grills, parking and an updated playground made possible by a partnership with The Rotary Club.
44. Rosemeade Rainforest Aquatic Complex Click for larger view	1334 E. Rosemeade Parkway Map	Located adjacent to Rosemeade Recreation Center, the complex consists of a 50-meter Olympic size pool, 25-meter short course, separate diving well and training pool. The Rosemeade Rainforest section features a zero-depth entry pool, two platform levels with bridge, water cannons, bubblers, spray bars, water slides, a 200-foot lazy river and a 600 gallon dump bucket. The complex also includes a bathhouse, concessions, picnic tables, lounges and shaded areas.
46. Standridge Memorial Park Click for larger view	1715 Rosemeade Circle Map Rosemeade Circle at Dogwood	This 2.50-acre site was donated to the city as a passive area by George Underwood, Jr., in honor of the late Mayor Tommy Standridge. Amenities include walking paths, lighting, landscaping, seating, and an underground sprinkler system. No playground is provided on this site.

Jackson and Jamestown, just east of City Hall, this park is named after a former prominent civic leader in Carrollton. This park has concrete sidewalks, pedestrian lighting, playground, pavilion, basketball court, interpretive signage, grills, drinking fountain, park benches, trash receptacles, and a 6-foot wide, 1/4 mile long walking trail.
48. Timbercreek Park Click for larger view	1717 W. Rosemeade Parkway Map Rosemeade Parkway & Greenglen Drive Reservations not required for use of pavilion.	This is a 7-acre park with water fountain, grills, playgrounds, walking path, basketball court, and picnic pavilion.
49. Cedar Elm Park Click for larger view	3845 Menard Drive Map Reservations not required for use of pavilion.	New in August 2008, this park features lots of trees, pavilion, playground with rubberized play surface, grills, walking path and picnic tables.
51. W. J. Thomas Park and sports fields Click for larger view	1955 N. Perry Road Map 1950 N. Perry Road (sports fields) Map	A 25-acre park with lighted sports facilities including restroom and concession stands, Olympic size swimming pool, playground, 3 tennis courts and picnic facilities.
52. Oakwood Springs Park Click for larger view	1817 Hamilton Road Map	New in August 2008, this 6-acre park includes a pavilion, playground with rubberized play surface, walking path, grills, sand volleyball court and water fountain.
