Mission Statement
As a leader, Parks and Recreation provides innovative, diverse, and quality recreation and leisure opportunities for everyone, while preserving City parks and natural resources.

Park Hours and Rules
Park hours are 5:00 am to 10:30 pm daily unless otherwise posted.

  • Unauthorized vehicles are prohibited on park property.
  • Possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited.
  • Fireworks and/or firearms of any kind are not permitted.
  • Golfing is not allowed on park property.
  • Dogs must be kept on leash at all times. Remember to pick up after your pet during walks. 

For additional information or to report graffiti, vandalism or maintenance needs, please contact us at 972-466-3080 between 7:30 am and 5:30 pm, Monday through Thursday or 7:30 to 11:30 am Friday.

Veterans and widows of veterans are invited to sign up for the Veteran’s Day Celebration on Wednesday, November 11 at 11 a.m.
Samples were collected Friday, October 2 and the results of these tests were negative for West Nile Virus.

This week, October 6-8, the Value of Water Coalition is partnering with cities across the United States to promote a national campaign highlighting our most essential resource: water.
Voting will be open from October 5 through October 16. Once all votes are in, the top twelve tanks during the voting process will be judged by an internal panel of water tank enthusiasts to determine the winner.
