Park Hours and Rules
Park hours are 5:30 am to 10 pm daily unless otherwise posted.

  • Unauthorized vehicles are prohibited on park property.
  • Possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited.
  • Fireworks and/or firearms of any kind are not permitted.
  • Golfing is not allowed on park property.
  • Dogs must be kept on leash at all times.

For additional information or to report graffiti, vandalism or maintenance needs, please contact us at 972-466-3080 between 7:30 am and 5:30 pm, Monday through Thursday or 7:30 to 11:30 am Friday.

To report a violation of Park rules or other illegal activity, contact Carrollton Police at 972-466-3333.

A $100 deposit is required to use bounce houses, tents and various other equipment in City parks. Please visit Rosemeade or Crosby Recreation Center to complete an application and pay your deposit with credit card, cash or check. The deposit is refundable if there is no damage to the site. The rental company must provide their own source of electricity (generator). A copy of the rental company's liability insurance should be submitted with the deposit. Vehicles are not allowed to drive on our parks. The bounce house and other equipment must be transported to the preferred location by a dolly or some means other than a motorized vehicle.

click for larger view of child fishingThe City of Carrollton follows the Texas Parks and Wildlife fishing guidelines so licenses and limits are required unless you fall under special provisions made by the State. One-day or consecutive-day fishing licenses can be purchased if you like. Persons under 17 or over 80 yrs old are not required to have licenses. There are also special agreements with Oklahoma and Louisiana. Oklahoma residents over 64 and Louisiana residents over 65 with a valid fishing license are not required to have a Texas license. These provisions are discussed on the TPWD website, which also has fish limits, etc. The website is www.takemefishing.org.

Fishing is allowed in Carrollton lakes and following state boating guidelines with safety vests and boater registrations. No motorized boats are allowed except electric trolling motors.

The A.W. Perry Museum is showing Three Ages, Buster Keaton’s epic comedy of love’s eternal struggle, projected on a large canvas screen draped across the front of the barn on Saturday, June 8.
The City of Carrollton Parks Department has partnered with The Gloria Hicks Movement, Inc., a local non-profit who will be coordinating food service.
