Park Hours and Rules
Park hours are 5:00 am to 10:30 pm daily unless otherwise posted.

  • Unauthorized vehicles are prohibited on park property.
  • Possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited.
  • Fireworks of any kind are not permitted.
  • Golfing is not allowed on park property.
  • Dogs must be kept on leash at all times. Remember to pick up after your pet during walks.

Carrollton is pleased to announce Barenaked Ladies as the headlining entertainment for the 2016 Festival at the Switchyard.
Carrollton’s Parks and Recreation and the Texas Junior Anglers (TJA) program will host a free youth fishing event for children 16 and under at the Josey Ranch Park Pond (1440 Keller Springs Road) on Saturday, May 28 from 9 a.m. until noon.
Players will learn to bump, set, spike and serve, as well as the rules of the game. League registration includes eight league games, officials, one hour of practice each week and an end of the season tournament.
Samples were collected Friday, May 6 and the results of these tests were negative for West Nile Virus.
Thomas Splash Park is officially open for the season! This free facility is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. To start the water features, touch the silver sensor on top of the red fire hydrant water feature in the splash area.
