Mission Statement
As a leader, Parks and Recreation provides innovative, diverse, and quality recreation and leisure opportunities for everyone, while preserving City parks and natural resources.

Park Hours and Rules
Park hours are 5:00 am to 10:30 pm daily unless otherwise posted.

  • Unauthorized vehicles are prohibited on park property.
  • Possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited.
  • Fireworks and/or firearms of any kind are not permitted.
  • Golfing is not allowed on park property.
  • Dogs must be kept on leash at all times. Remember to pick up after your pet during walks. 

For additional information or to report graffiti, vandalism or maintenance needs, please contact us at 972-466-3080 between 7:30 am and 5:30 pm, Monday through Thursday or 7:30 to 11:30 am Friday.

Rosemeade Rainforest Aquatic Complex will remain open with normal operating hours until Sunday, August 16.
Artful rockers Fastball will join headliners 3 Doors Down as main stage performers for Carrollton’s 6th Annual Festival at the Switchyard Saturday, November 7.
The City of Carrollton’s Animal Services & Adoption Center recently underwent and successfully passed an annual inspection with the Texas Department of State Health Services.
The September-December 2015 issue of Carrollton’s leisure magazine hits stands at various City facilities on Friday, July 31 and contains City events, activities, and programs for the fall.
The City of Carrollton Public Library has provided a rolling “Pocket Library” for patrons to enjoy on the newly re-designed Downtown Square Park.
