Free Fly Fishing Class May 16

Join Dallas Fly Fishers (DFF) for a free introduction to fly fishing on Saturday, May 16fly fishing for ages 5+ at the Carrollton Senior Center (1720 Keller Springs Road) from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Learn to cast, tie basic fishing knots, tie flys and discuss their uses, review equipment, learn about aquatic ecosystems, safety, fishing, ethics, and regulations. This is a free class offered by DFF, including all equipment and materials. DFF has been an active club for over 30 years. Instructors are certified by Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) and Federation of Fly Fishers. Participants receive a TPWD Basic Fly Fishing Certificate.
