Looking for something to wear on Halloween that is re-usable? Tired of the same old costumes? We got just the right thing for you! Use your imagination and come up with a homemade costume out of recyclable materials. Join in on the Recycled Halloween Costume Contest and get a chance to showcase your creativity and craft to others!

Mission:

• To have FUN with our discarded Trash!

Rules:

• Materials that may be used to put the costume together - Examples include but are not limited to: Glue, laces, scissors, tape, and thread.
• Costumes need to be wearable and appropriate for viewing by all ages, this is a Family Friendly event – contestants must be prepared to repair the costumes on the day of the show in case of emergency situations
• Find materials wherever you can – no stealing permitted
• Individual or teams are welcome, but a limit of 5 people can work on one team

Deadline to register: Friday, October 26, 2012

Winners will be judged on the following criteria:

• Creativity in utilizing the materials
• Quantity of used material against new material (Recyclable factors)

Categories include:

• Best Adult Costume
• Best Children's Costume
• Most Creative Costume
• Best Use of Recycled Materials
• Scariest Costume
• Best Accessory
