Join us for a magical night at the Perry Museum featuring shor t films by the legendary “cinemagician” Georges Méliès and an outdoor screening of the 2011 Oscar nominated film Hugo. Fun fall activities featuring Victorian Halloween traditions begin at 6pm, the live magic show begins at 6:30pm. Hugo tells the story of a young boy living in a Paris train station as he rediscovers the magic of Méliès, the Parisian film maker who is considered to be the father of movie special effects. Hugo begins at dusk. Bring lawn chairs or a blanket for seating. Concessions will be available for purchase. Costumes are encouraged.
