7th Annual Downtown Carrollton Summit
Save The Date! It’s that time again! Time for the annual “One Stop Shop” to find out what’s happening in/around Downtown Carrollton. This year's event, on Monday, May 20 at 7:00 p.m. at R. E. Good Elementary will focus on the reconstruction of I-35E, as well as future passenger rail service. Mayor Marchant, City Council members, City staff, and regional agencies will be available to answer questions; and as always, developers projects going on in the area will be available. The agenda includes a welcome/introductions by City Councilmember Doug Hrbacek, opening remarks by City Manager Leonard Martin, a discussion about Carrollton Farmers Branch Independent School District and R. E. Good Elementary School by Mrs. Hohman, a presentation about the I-35E reconstruction by Mayor Matthew Marchant, a discussion about Denton County Transit Authority (DCTA) led by DCTA President Jim Cline, and a question and answer session along with a participant's display. This meeting is open to all.
