WaterWise Gardening with Native Plants - 10 a.m.
When it comes to plants for your yard, Texas natives are the way to go. These beautiful plants have been growing here for centuries, use very little water, take very little care, and attract butterflies, birds, and bees. The Fall is a great time to make changes to your landscape and prepare your yard for next year’s growing season. This class is taught by Janet D. Smith. Ms. Smith is a Texas Master Gardener, a Master Naturalist, a member of the Native Plant Society of Texas and has certifications in Rainwater Harvesting and the Earth-Kind program at TX A&M.

He writes gardening articles and gives seminars on a variety of garden topics. Come to this class and find out how easy vegetable gardening can be!
