Background and Education:
Councilmember Babick has been a resident of Carrollton for 20+ yrs. He earned his undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Finance at The Florida State University and an MBA from Amber University.

Public Service:
Councilmember Babick was elected to City Council in May 2014 and serves on the Re-Development Committee, as Metrocrest Chamber of Commerce Liaison/Ex-Officio and the Council liaison to the Museum Board. His election to office came after serving various voluntary roles throughout the Community as follows:

Professional and Personal:
Professionally, Babick serves as CEO of a Loyalty & Incentive Software company in Addison and has been in the Software industry since starting his career at Texas Instruments and spinning out a software division in 1995. He serves on the Board of Directors for a few companies with core focus on software and mobile technology and as an advisor for many entrepreneurial startup ventures. Mr. Babick is an Eagle Scout and life-long supporter of growing leadership in our youth.
