Develop strong core muscles, restore balance and promote lean muscle building while minimizing injuries through a progressive instruction method. Emphasis is on a full body workout with balance postures included. Mats, hand weights, resistance bands, tubing and stability balls will be used during class. Cardiovascular work will be incorporated into warm-up exercises and strength training. All levels of fitness will benefit, with special attention paid to restoration of balance and strength endurance for seniors.
Strength-Core Balance takes place on Friday from 2:00pm to 3:00pm at the Rosemeade Recreation Center. Attendees must be 18 years of age or older.
