Water Conservation and Drinking Water Week May 5-11 National Drinking Water Week, May 5-11, 2013, celebrates water utility divisions. These divisions deliver 34 billion gallons of water to people across North America each day. Carrollton Public Works Department has delivered safe and reliable drinking water for over 80 years, providing public health protection, fire protection, support for the economy and quality of life. Dallas Water Utilities and the City of Carrollton are a “Superior” rated water system by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
