Going Green Initiatives

The city of Carrollton is committed to supporting emission reduction, energy conservation, and other environmental initiatives in the region and has been an active regional partner for many years.  The city participates in and is a member of the following programs.

  • Clean Texas Program – previously registered as a bronze member and currently pursuing registration for gold membership
  • North Central Texas Council of Governments – several programs including stormwater management, environmental quality and transportation/fleet initiatives

The city of Carrollton complies with local, state and federal environmental regulations and participates in activities that protect water quality and promote environmental sustainability.
